Inspiring and well written. Her journey shows the power of faith and of God's interventions in our lives.
Extremely well written! I became totally absorbed throughout the book.
Penina writes well, passionately, and from the heart.
I could feel her pain and joy through her words.
The story of Penina Taylor is one that will inspire all of those who wish to travel the road to the ONE true God.
I couldn't put this book down. Unfortunately many people find themselves in a similar situation and this story serves as a map to finding a way forward. All through the story I found myself cheering Penina and hoping she would have a happy ending. I held my breath all the way to the end. I would recommend this book.
I haven't even gotten past the introduction and do not know how much more I can read because the errors in the edition are HORRIBLE. The same sentences doubled in the same paragraph, another sentence that obviously comes from some other paragraph in the middle of the sentence that I am reading that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever...the table of contents page is in jumbles...someone really needs to edit this before allowing anymore editions to be sold. Rated so low just because of the errors.
This is one woman's story of how she became a Christian and then returned to Judaism. I admire her honesty and integrity. Most people won't face up to errors in their beliefs. If we are truly honest we will thank people for pointing out errors in our thinking.
Penina Taylor obviously wanted to serve God and, I believe, did so as well as she could for most of her life. Hers is an inspiring story which, I believe, should be read by both Jews and Christians.
